I just received my Organic Bytes Newsletter and watched a great preview of a documentary on local food (called Good Food) in the Pacific Northwest. Productive, organic and sustainable farms right next to metropolitan areas such as Seattle. It’s well put together. How many of you shop your local farmer’s markets or CSAs? We’d love to hear from you. Today I enjoyed lunch and dinner completely from local foods. I was in a hurry at breakfast and depended on some prepackaged peanut butter, imported bananas, and fair trade coffee. But we’re moving in the right direction. BTW, my homemade ketchup and pickles on our grassfed beef patties with heirloom tomatoes were awesome!
